Zero Waste Team Members

Sustainability Advocates at Aquinas College play a crucial role in promoting zero waste and sustainable practices within their buildings or areas. Their primary responsibilities include educating peers, advocating for mindful consumption, and modeling sustainable behavior. Advocates serve as a resource for sustainability information, encourage others to reduce their ecological footprint, and provide constructive feedback to improve waste sorting and sustainability efforts. They also have the opportunity to share ideas for enhancing sustainability initiatives, address challenges or concerns, and collaborate on effective strategies to engage the campus community. Through their leadership in zero waste practices and sustainability, Advocates help foster a more sustainable campus environment.
